1- ELIGIBILITY
The contest is open to customers who sign a contract to purchase at least one complete motorcycle course between April 1, 2023 and March 31, 2024 at a participating TECNIC MOTO driving school. By signing a purchase contract for a complete motorcycle course, the customer is automatically entered in the contest. However, they may decide not to participate. In this case, the customer must simply set the quantity to zero of the product “motorcycle contest participation” added by default when registering for the motorcycle course.
1.1 CUSTOMER WILL HAVE A MAXIMUM OF ONE CONTEST ENTRY
As previously specified, participation in the contest is linked exclusively to registration for a complete motorcycle course, either at the Montreal and Quebec City Motorcycle Shows or at a participating TECNIC MOTO driving school. Thus, the customer will have a maximum of one chance to win the grand prize.
1.2 THE CUSTOMER MUST BE AT LEAST 16 YEARS OF AGE TO ENTER THE CONTEST AND MUST RESIDE IN CANADA.
2. DRAW
The draw will take place among all customers registered for a complete motorcycle course who have agreed to participate in the contest. The draw will take place on Friday, April 12, 2024, at 11 a.m., at the head office of Groupe Tecnic Canada inc. at 1545, boul. Le Corbusier, Suite 66, Laval, QC H7S 2K6. The participant selected at random will be declared the grand prize winner, subject to fulfilling all the conditions described in these rules. Immediate verification will be made to ensure that the selected entrant has not cancelled his/her contract prior to completing the course. If this is the case, a second participant will be drawn at random until we have a winner who meets the eligibility and prize conditions.
3. PRIZE DESCRIPTION
A Honda motorcycle model MSX125R (GROM), year 2024, including preparation and delivery as well as applicable taxes.
Approximate value of prize: $5,300
This prize must be accepted as awarded and cannot be transferred, exchanged or substituted in whole or in part for cash.
4. CONDITIONS FOR OBTAINING THE PRIZE
The candidate must have signed a contract for the purchase of a motorcycle driving course with a participating TECNIC MOTO driving school, and must have taken, completed and paid in full the course for which the contract was signed, or be in the process of taking, completing and paying for the course in accordance with the signed contract.
To be eligible, the customer must not, under any circumstances, have cancelled his or her contract. The candidate must be at least 18 years of age or have parental authorization to take possession of the Honda motorcycle model MSX125R (GROM), year 2024.
The prize must be claimed no later than Friday, July 5, 2024, at the head office of Groupe Tecnic Canada Inc. Delivery of the motorcycle to the winner will take place at a Honda dealer or other location designated by Groupe Tecnic Canada Inc. A liability waiver form must be signed by the winner.
5. NOTIFICATION
The winner will be notified by telephone on the day of the draw and subsequently by e-mail. The winner must consent to the use of his/her photo and/or name for promotional purposes by Groupe Tecnic Canada inc. and its affiliated motorcycle schools, Honda Canada inc. and Honda dealers, without further compensation to the winner in connection with this contest.
6. EXCLUSION
The winner must not be domiciled with an organizer of the “THIS HONDA IS THE MINE” contest, Tecnic Canada Group Inc. or its affiliated motorcycle schools, Honda Canada Inc. or its authorized dealers, advertising and promotional agencies, or suppliers of material or services related to this contest.
7. DISPUTES
Any litigation respecting the conduct or organization of a publicity contest may be submitted to the Régie des alcools, des courses et des jeux du Québec for a ruling. Any litigation respecting the awarding of a prize may be submitted to the Régie only for the purpose of helping the parties reach a settlement.
8. EVENT
In order to be declared a winner, the selected participant must correctly answer a road safety question.
