In Canada, all operators of a motorized pleasure craft must have proof of competency, such as a boating license. This proof is mandatory regardless of an individual’s age, the length of the craft, or the size of the boat motor.
Our Transport Canada-certified and -approved online courses are simple, convenient and fully personalized.

The courses are accessible 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
The course consists of three hours of compulsory study, spread over six modules. Each module includes five videos and a simple and engaging guide.
At the end of each module, you will have a ten-question practice quiz. To advance to the next module, you must achieve a passing grade of 80%.
After studying the six modules of our course, you will be able to access Transport Canada’s final exam online.
It’s a 50-question multiple-choice exam with a 75-minute time limit.
The passing mark is 38/50 (76%).
Upon passing the exam, you can immediately print out a temporary certificate valid for 60 days.
Your official pleasure craft operator card (commonly referred to as a boat license) will be sent to you within 30 days.
