For anyone who drives a vehicle or a combination of vehicles (trucks, trailers and vans) with a gross vehicle weight rating (GVWR) of 4,500 kg or more.
This is a four-hour theoretical and practical course. The interactive training provided by an expert offers concrete examples, answers to students' questions and a workbook to enable participants to grasp the material well.
Before getting behind the wheel, the driver must ensure that a circle check has been carried out on their vehicle within the last 24 hours. Students will learn how to locate minor and major defects and complete and update a safety report.
At the end of the course, students will be eligible to receive a certificate confirming that they have completed the circle check training. This protects the operator, owner and driver in the event of an incident. The certificate will be mailed directly to the employer or student two weeks after payment. An attendance sheet will be signed at the beginning and end of the training.
